Why intercultural training?
In an ever more interconnected world, cooperating with people from a wide variety of cultures or working in cross-national projects is increasingly the norm. Diversity and the combination of variable world views can give you a great competitive advantage and enrich your work processes. Unfortunately, however, this often proves to be more difficult than expected. Misunderstandings and conflicts are commonplace in many intercultural collaborations.
Almost as widespread is the false assumption that nowadays everyone automatically possesses intercultural competence, e.g. due to traveling to other countries. Many consider themselves to be interculturally versed and therefore do not even notice that they are committing a faux pas or are guided by stereotypes and prejudices, thus making respectful intercultural cooperation impossible.
The good news, however, is that with the right training, anyone can learn intercultural skills.

Intercultural teams
Do you work in an intercultural team and would like to improve cooperation? Then an intercultural workshop is just right for you. Learn to take the perspective of your international colleagues and understand their ways of acting and bridge differences together to work together harmoniously in the future.
Do you lead an intercultural team and have problems to balance the different needs of your employees or are you often confronted with conflicts within the team that you are unable to resolve? Learn more about intercultural management, leading international teams, moderating in an international context or intercultural conflict management.
International employees
Do you have problems attracting applicants of other nationalities or keeping international employees in your company? Get an advantage on the market and learn how to attract people of different backgrounds already with the correctly formulated job advertisements, how to convince the desired people of your company in the selection process and how to make life in Germany and work in your company easier for your international employees. I am also happy to support your newly arrived employees in getting accustomed to life in Germany (see relocation services) or to help people already living here with adjustment problems.
Preparation for moving abroad
Are you or your employees moving abroad for work and fear encountering obstacles or problems in the adjustment processes? A preparatory training or individual coaching can help. Learn how working abroad differs from working in your home country, how you can adapt to your new work environment and how you can cooperate with your new colleagues. In addition, you will learn more about the cultural customs of your new home, discover the basics of intercultural adaptation, and develop strategies for overcoming problems.
A special focus here is the spouse training for partners who will not be working abroad and will face different problems than the working part.
International business partners
You have (multi-day) appointments with international business partners and feel overwhelmed with the organization of these? Or you have already had negative experiences in past negotiations and fear that these will be repeated? I can help you to go into your international appointments better prepared and to achieve a more satisfactory result in the future. Whether it is preparations such as country-specific "Doing business with..." trainings for your delegations, an accompaniment of your employees to negotiations abroad or an on-site support of international partners in Germany including recreational activities and cultural introduction, everything is possible.

(Highschool) Students
Working with (highschool) students is also a matter close to my heart. Especially, young people often underestimate the influence of cultural differences and put their foot in their mouth or get into conflicts. Others, on the other hand, fear cultural differences and everything unknown so much that they miss out on valuable experiences such as a semester abroad or a friendship with people from different backgrounds. In this area, I also offer a variety of trainings: be it general cultural awareness training for students, a preparatory training for studying abroad or a training to help newly arrived exchange students settle in.
